ALUMINUM WELDERS
Day Shift - $19-22/hour (depending on experience) – 2 positions
Night Shift – 1 position
Ability to weld together fabricated parts of structural metal products in shop, plan sequence of operation. Obtain specified electrode and inserts electrode into portable holder or threads consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun; connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by Welding Engineer or Welding Technician and be able to set welding machine wire feed. Ability to start power supply to produce electric current; strike (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece. Must pass American Welding Society 2g Plate Test. Two years of experience preferred.
