Summary: FLOOR INSPECTOR NIGHT SHIFT   4PM-3AM  NEED MANUFACTURING FLOOR EXPERIENCE   DO NOT NEED INSPECTION CERTIFICATION, INSPECT RAW MATERIALS, DRILLED HOLES READ BLUEPRINTS, TAPE MEASURE

Task and Responsibilities  

Job description and responsibilities, but not limited to the following

  • This job requires the individual to work with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment and other hazardous processes which requires this job to be classified a SAFETY SENSITIVE position.
  • Assist Employees with complex drawing configurations to ensure high quality and standards.
  • Productivity level must consistently equal the Company’s established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions.
  • Verifies that incoming receiving parts, manufacturing in-process parts, and finish product meets engineering drawing and specifications.
  • 1st piece inspection - shall check each set-up for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspects accuracy of gauges and instruments for conformance to gauge calibration program.
  • Rejects defective parts (DPR).
  • Checks parts for accuracy and ensure quality manufacturing techniques
  • Fill out all establish reports and forms deemed necessary by quality control department.
  • Workmanship must meet the Company’s quality standards.
  • Follow Premier safety policies and procedures.
  • Sustain 5’s requirements.

 

Skills and Experience

  •  Basic Fabrication and welding experience
  •  Able to operate overhead cranes and power tools
  • Able to read and work through complex shop drawings and work instructions
  • Able to use shop tape measure and measurement tools required for the job
  • Able to learn Atypical shop drawings and understand bill of materials
  • CWI  D1.1 certification is desired
  • Must have the ability to learn new skills
  • Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team and give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the safety and quality standards
